South Park had a strong presence at San Diego comic con celebrating the shows 20th anniversary. Across the street from the convention center Comedy Central hosted the South Park experience. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was a gracious first stop on our journey to see all 30 baseball stadiums in the next two years aka "The Great Baseball Stadium Journey". PNC Park home of the Pirates with its majestic views and thriving nightlife surrounding the ball park area make it a premiere spot for entertainment. Though PNC park holds only about 38,000 fans this intimate setting lends to great baseball game atmosphere. You never feel far from the action, and no matter where you sit you have a great view. Though the best seats are facing the outfield gazing upon the Allegheny river as pictured below. There are so many things to do and see in Pittsburgh it was hard to narrow it down to just one. With majestic views and steeped in history the Duquesne Incline took the top spot. There are fancy bars, and eateries but seeing Pittsburgh from this angle and riding up that old trolley car is an experience you can’t miss out on. The image below should speak for itself. Role credits pan up, fade to black. An audience invest so much of themselves in television shows and the need for a satisfying conclusion can demolish years of quality programming. What is it about human nature that we need things wrapped up in a nice tiny bow. Since the dawn of time we have looked to the heavens to explain the unknown. In the beginning there were those who claimed of higher power and those that took a scientific route. But none the less we’ve always found the need to try and explain and find answers to what’s out there. Which leads back to television. The finale of an episode represents an end to many things we’ve cherished, to some it’s like losing a family member. An audience wants a satisfying conclusion because there’s no way to know what the future holds for these characters after the final credits role. A poor ending can feel like a betrayal.
